Assay TV is joined by Brian Miller, CEO and director of Astra Exploration (TSXV: ASTRA | OTCQB: ATEPF), a company focused on exploration in the Paleocene Mineral Province of Northern Chile.
Brian updates us on the company’s flagship Pampa Pacienca Project, a low sulphidation epithermal gold-silver deposit, where Astra recently completed Phase II of its drilling programme. The programme consisted of 3,976m of RC drilling in 15 holes, all located in the project’s North Zone target.
Drill highlights from the programme include hole PPRC-22-45 intersecting 4.5g/t gold equivalent over 9.0m, including 12.7g/t AuEq over 3.0m, and hole PPRC-22-49 intersecting 3.17g/t gold equivalent over 3.0m, including 8.2g/t gold equivalent over 1.0m.
