Osisko Metals is poised to meet rising demand for critical minerals.
It is at the forefront of a new generation of mining companies recognizing that the global shift toward a green, sustainable economy coupled with post-COVID infrastructure stimulus will dramatically increase demand for critical minerals like copper and zinc. With critical metals deficits looming, only a handful of development projects in the global pipeline are close to the permitting stage. Osisko Metals controls two of those projects.
Located in one of the world’s best safest mining jurisdictions, the Gaspé Copper Mine in Murdochville, Québec and the Pine Point Mining Camp in the Northwest Territories are historical, brownfield sites with a clear path to production. Gaspé Copper has more than 3B lbs of indicated copper resource and is targeting a production start in Q4 2030. Pine Point has 8B llbs of zinc and lead inferred resource and is expected to be shovel ready in four years. Both projects have significant exploration potential.
The long-term goal of this Canadian exploration and development company is to become the leading base metal developer in North America.
