Registration for PDAC’s 2025 Convention is now open! Set to take place from March 2-5, 2025, at the Metro Toronto Convention Centre, this 93rd annual event promises to be bigger and better than ever, and The Assay is excited to be in attendance.
Year after year, the convention has served as a successful platform for industry and government dialogue. PDAC’s convention highlights the crucial role of public policy in enhancing the competitiveness and efficiency of Canada’s mineral sector.
Following on from the success of PDAC 2024, which drew nearly 27,000 delegates from 138 countries, the organizers of the world’s largest annual mining industry gathering have planned even more unique opportunities for collaboration, learning, and innovation.
“With more than 600,000 square feet of exhibits, groundbreaking programming, and exceptional networking opportunities, PDAC 2025 will bring together the world’s most influential industry leaders,” said Raymond Goldie, PDAC President.
“This year’s convention emphasizes advancements in mineral exploration and mining technology, sustainability, and shaping the future of mining by strengthening partnerships with students and Indigenous communities.”
With over 1,100 exhibitors showcasing leading companies, technologies, and investment opportunities in the industry, attendees will not be short of interesting and concepts to explore. From cutting-edge technologies to groundbreaking investment prospects, the convention promises to create a buzz.
Additionally, participants can check out technical sessions, short courses, and keynotes covering a wide range of topics, including commodities, geoscience, capital markets, and the latest advancements in exploration and mining.
Notable speakers such as Eric Sprott, Mike Henry, and Flavia Tata Nardini, will discuss growing themes in the mining world today, such as market and mining outlooks, and the growth of technologies and innovations.
PDAC also allows people to connect with industry leaders through educational opportunities, networking events, and mentorship programmes designed to support the next generation of industry professionals.
If relaxed networking is more your thing, PDAC has that covered by featuring the Awards Gala & Nite Cap, Canada Night, and the student-Industry Mixer, providing social opportunities to connect with peers and industry leaders in a relaxed environment.
