Habtamu Tegegne, Minister for Mines, Ethiopia joined The Assay onsite at the recent 121 Mining Investment Cape Town event to discuss shifts in the sector over the past few years, and the role of mining in Ethiopia’s economy. We look at how mining is now a key driver for Ethiopia and how new policies are working to support the industry and communities.
Ethiopia is open to both foreign and local investment and spent their time at both 121 Mining Investment Cape Town and Mining Indaba having key conversations with the industry to people know that they’re open for business.
