Alt Resources Ltd (ASX:ARS) has completed an additional ten RC drill holes to test further extend the known mineralisation zone at its Bottle Creek Gold Project at Mt Ida in the northern goldfields of Western Australia.
Executive Director Andrew Sparke said the additional 755m of drilling at the VB North prospect at Bottle Creek Gold Project was designed to extend mineralisation down dip. VB North is an un-mined mineralised zone that lies approximately five hundred metres north of the VB open pit at Bottle Creek
The company recently completed 21 RC drill holes for 1040m at VB North prospect, which were drilled 500m up-strike to the north of the historic VB open pit.
Mr Sparke said Alt is now planning to model the VB North mineralisation and bring it into the Mt Ida resource table in Q1 2020.
Alt Resources is keeping itself busy in the lead up to Christmas with he RC rig now moved to the Shepherds Bush prospect at Mt Ida South.
Approximately 2000m will be drilled to expanding on earlier 10 hole RC test programmme at Shepherds Bush in July 2019 where an intercept of 80m @ 1.49g/t Au from eight metres was recorded.
Mr Sparke said the follow up drilling at Shepherds Bush has been designed as infill and extensional drilling, with the company aiming to deliver a maiden resource for the prospect in Q1 2020., reviewed and announced to the market in early Q1 2020.
Tim’s Find Toll Treatment
The company also reported that it has progressed the planned Tim’s Find Toll Treatment development with all required survey work now completed. The clearing permit to commence mining operations at Tim’s Find has been lodged with the Department of Mines Industry Resources and Safety.
The company is targeting a commencement of Tim’s Find operations in Q2 2020, subject to government approvals, with three small open pits scheduled to be mined during 2020.
