Programme Testing At Least Five Prospects
Battery Minerals Limited (ASX: BAT) has commenced aircore drilling at the Nine Mile Prospect at its Stavely Stawell Project in Victoria.
The Nine Mile Prospect is the first target of five to be tested identified on accessible ground as part of an estimated 15,000m aircore drilling programme.
Eighty-one holes (estimated at 3,240m have been planned at the Nine Mile Prospect, testing 1.3km of strike on the highly prospective, regional scale Moyston Fault.
Executive Chairman, David Flanagan, said the Nine Mile Prospect has been subject to limited drilling in the 1990’s including AC results of two metres at 1.7g/t Au that has not been followed up in 30 years.
“It’s terrific to get back in there drilling. In addition to Nine Mile we have some great targets and we look forward to exploring the entire tenement and delivering some outstanding results,” Mr Flanagan said.
