Coda Minerals Limited (ASX: COD) has appointed experienced mining executive Kudzai Mtsambiwa as Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately.
A Chartered Accountant with 14 years’ experience in the international resources sector, Mr Mtsambiwa joins Coda following a lengthy career with the leading West African-focused gold producer Perseus Mining – where he most recently held the roles of Group Planning & Business Analyst and Group Financial Controller for seven years.
He joined Perseus as Group Accountant in 2010.
During his time at Perseus, Mr Mtsambiwa gained extensive commercial and financial experience during the company’s rapid growth phase, including exploration as well as the development and operation of several major mines spanning multiple jurisdictions.
Mr Mtsambiwa holds an Honours degree from the University of Western Australia, and a Master of Science in Mineral Economics from Curtin University. Commenting on the appointment, Coda Chairman Keith Jones said:
