Targeting Resource Extension At Copper-Gold Project
Cyprium Metals Limited (ASX:CYM) is preparing to commence a resource extension and metallurgical drilling at the Nanadie Well Copper-Gold Project in Western Australia.
Cyprium has submitted its initial Nanadie Well Programme of Works to the WA Mines Department with approval expected during November 2020 .
Drilling will commence with the 1,700 metre Phase 1 diamond drilling programme in December 2020.
The diamond drilling programme will target supergene and sulphide mineralisation to confirm geology and obtain mineralised material for metallurgical test work
Executive Director Barry Cahill said a surface geophysics programme is currently being finalised for December 2020 at Cue and Nanadie Well.
“We are pleased to announce the imminent mobilisation of a diamond drill rig to the Nanadie Well Copper-Gold Project as we rapidly advance our strategy of expanding the resource base at this exciting new project,” Mr Cahill said.
“We are in an advantageous position where we have a strategic path to development through resource infill and extensional drilling, geological interpretation and metallurgical test work from the same diamond drill programme.
“Concurrently, using the same drill holes, we are able to test the potential for new resources and use downhole geophysics that will gives us more knowledge on targeting mineralisation along strike and underneath the current mineralisation.
“We have also commenced the mobilisation of crews to conduct surface geophysics at both Cue Copper-Gold and Nanadie Well Copper-Gold which will drive the targeting our next phases of drilling. “The supergene resource drill out using RC drill holes is currently being sourced through various drill companies so we can commence the Phase 1 RC drilling programme at Nanadie Well at the earliest possible time.”
