Suvo Strategic Minerals Limited (ASX: SUV) has announced that Dowsing Group has agreed to facilitate the demonstration pour of Colliecrete on the ongoing Bunbury Outer Ring Road Project.
The BORR is currently under construction by the South-West Gateway Alliance for Main Roads Western Australia and is the largest road infrastructure project in the history of the South-West of Western Australia.
In January 2024, the company received an invitation from the Sustainability Waste Alliance to complete a demonstration pour of ‘Colliecrete’ – the low carbon concrete formulation to which the company holds the rights, by way of an exclusive licence agreement with Murdoch University.
Peel Resource Recovery, a waste management company located in Kemerton, Western Australia, roughly 20km from the BORR, has agreed to provide land and services to Suvo and Dowsing to complete several trial pours of Colliecrete prior to the demonstration pour on the BORR.
Additionally, Mr Peter Snowsill, a Chemical Engineer with over 30 years’ industry experience, has joined the team. Having held senior executive positions across the technology and engineering sectors, Peter will be a key resource, assisting the company in its pursuit to commercialize its low carbon geopolymer concrete IP.
Mr Snowsill’s experience incorporates technology development and commercialization, contracting strategies, project and commercial team development, and project execution for pilot and commercial scale packaged process equipment projects across broad industrial and government market sectors.
