Alberta’s leading lithium developer and extraction technology innovator, E3 Lithium Ltd (TSXV: ETL), has acquired the last remaining tenure for metallic and industrial minerals in the Exshaw Area of the Bashaw District.
The permit was acquired directly from the Government of Alberta and covers 4,606 hectares. In addition to increasing E3 Lithium’s permit area, it ensures a continuous land position in the Bashaw District, in which first commercial operations are planned.
Adding Volumes to E3’s Resource
The newly acquired permit will be included in E3’s upcoming technical report where it is likely to contribute additional resource volumes to E3’s already significant 24.3 million tonnes of inferred lithium resources. The upcoming report will outline upgrades to E3’s resource from Inferred to Measured and Indicated.
“The small section of tenure has been previously held by another party since E3 started to acquire mineral rights in this area in 2017,” said Chris Doornbos, President and CEO of E3 Lithium.
“Now staked by E3, this last piece of tenure ensures full access to our entire resource area and underscores our commitment to our asset and to progressing our commercial development.”
