Exploits Discovery Corp. (CSE: NFLD |OTCQX: NFLDF | FSE: 634) has announced assay results from eight of its recent exploration drill holes at its Bullseye property. The results included reports of several grains of visible gold observed within a quartz vein network in one of the drill holes.
The hole in question, drill hole BE-23-014, happens to be located approximately 250m north of New Found Gold’s recently publicized high-grade intercepts at their Everest gold zone. The Bullseye claims are contiguous to neighbouring active targets currently being drilled by both New Found Gold and Labrador Gold.
Highlights included:
BE-23-014 intersected 9.84g/t Au averaged over a 12m core-length, located approximately 133m below surface, where 10 grains of visible gold were noted within a network of quartz veins.
Including 36.75g/t Au contribution from a 0.45m sample
Including 26.98g/t Au contribution from a 1.15m sample
Including 27.48g/t Au contribution from a 0.70m sample
Including 19.22g/t Au contribution from a 1.10m sample
Including 15.97g/t Au contribution from a 0.65m sample
Along with hole BE-23-007, which intersected 4.35g/t Au over a 0.55m core-length, located about 50m below surface, and 3.60g/t Au over a 0.40m core-length located around 80m below surface.
Assay results from a total of 14 out of 26 drill holes have been received to date, with 9,536m drilled within the northeastern trend of the Appleton Fault and prospective splay structures.
