Exploits Discovery Corp. (CSE: NFLD | OTCQX: NFLDF | FSE: 634) has initiated a multi-stage summer fieldwork programme within the Gazeebow claim group, Newfoundland, for early May of this year.
The programmes have been designed to locate new gold targets within the company’s recently staked southern sector, as well as advance several 2022-indicated mineralizations to the drill-ready stage.
“I am excited that our local and experienced team is starting its boots-on-the-ground efforts at Gazeebow South,” commented Nick Ryan, exploration manager for Exploits.
“This area consists of several large mineral claims encompassing approximately 20km of the interpreted extension of the prospective Appleton Fault Zone. Field work over the coming months will assist with the identification, prioritization, and confidence to advance targets within this key exploration zone to a drill-ready stage.”
Exploit’s 2023 field exploration programme will consist of extensive surface exploration including prospecting, geological mapping, and rock sampling, all starting on the southern portion of the company’s Gazeebow property, focusing on areas strategically located along the interpreted Appleton Fault Zone.
Exploits has stated that its Gazeebow claims have high potential due to their location within the Appleton Fault Zone, about 15km north of the company’s Bullseye property, where drilling has commenced. Approximately 50% of the Gazeebow claims remained essentially untouched by modern scientific tools or surveys.
Coverage will continue to the north and expand on completed fieldwork from 2022 around the areas of the company’s Mega Vein and Angie’s Vein.
Additionally, traverses will be conducted at the Bullseye property covering areas that were inaccessible during the 2022 field season due to snow-cover. Exploration drilling continues at Bullseye with over 6,000m and 20 holes completed to date. The next set of assay results is expected in May.
