Canadian explorer Falcon Gold Corp. (TSXV: FG | GR: 3FA | OTCQB: FGLDF) has appointed a new exploration manager for its British Columbia and South America portfolios.
The role has been taken up by Glayton Dias, a geologist with 12 years’ experience both domestically and internationally in developing, managing and exploring mineral deposits from early-stage to mine development and 3D ore estimation.
Recently, Mr Dias’s work has been focused on the Spences Bridge Gold Belt in British Columbia, having been posted as a project manager for the Shovelnose Deposit currently being developed by Westhaven Resources (TSXV: WHN).
Prior to his time with Westhaven, Mr Dias worked as a consulting geologist for Ximen Mining Corp. (TSXV: XIM) on its multi-metallic Treasure Mountain deposit.
“Mr Dias’s knowledge and experience in precious and base metal projects on high-grade epithermal low sulfidation, including porphyry copper-gold geology, will be value-add[ed] as we start up operations again at both [the] Spitfire-Sunny Boy [and] Gaspard projects in B.C., and our South America projects,” the company stated.
