GoGold Resources Inc. (TSX: GGD | OTCQX: GLGDF) has announced additional drill results from the main area of its Los Ricos South project in Mexico, including an extremely high-grade silver intercept from hole LRGG-22-280.
The hole intercepted 14.0m of 706g/t silver equivalent (Ag Eq), including 2.3m of 4,081g/t Ag Eq, which also included the high-grade interval of 9,283g/t Ag Eq over 0.6m.
“We’ve drilled over 100 additional holes in the Main zone at Los Ricos South since our initial drilling, which was included in our July 2020 mineral resource estimate (MRE),” commented Brad Langille, GoGold Resources president and CEO.
“Our additional drilling has helped us better define the continuity of the high-grade ore shoots in the deposit. We believe this will be invaluable as we complete our mine plan for the upcoming preliminary economic assessment (PEA) and pre-feasibility study at Los Ricos South.”
The results come from over 100 holes drilled since GoGold Resources’ initial 2020 MRE, upon which the 2021 PEA was based upon, for the property. The company will include the new data in an update to its resource estimate by the end of the summer.
The Los Ricos South project currently has an initial measured and indicated mineral resource of 63.7Moz Ag Eq grading 199g/t Ag Eq contained in 10.0Mt, and an inferred mineral resource of 19.9Moz Ag Eq grading 190 g/t Ag Eq contained in 3.3Mt.
