National Distributor Agreement Signed
Soluna Australia Pty Ltd, an incorporated 50/50 joint venture between Lithium Australia NL and DLG Energy (Shanghai) Co. Ltd, has received Clean Energy Council (CEC)
Lithium Australia Managing Director, Adrian Griffin, said Soluna is developing energy storage solutions within Australia and beyond, and the CEC approval is an important step in the commercialisation of the new battery pack.
“Signing a national distributor agreement will increase our market penetration and rate of sales. It is a timely transaction that comes on the back of CEC approval for Soluna’s 10 kilowatt hour pack which extends our product range, providing greater choice for consumers,” Mr Griffin said.
The CEC requires that all clean-energy products sold in Australia, including those marketed by Soluna Au, meet the highest national and international standards. CEC accreditation assures national power grid operators that products are safe to install countrywide.
Soluna Au’s 10K Pack HV has been added to the CEC’s Battery Assurance Program, which lists all batteries that meet industry best-practice requirements in Australia. In so doing, it affirms for consumers the safety of these battery products, all of which have been independently tested and certified to confirm their adherence to specific standards of quality and safety.
Soluna Au’s 10K Pack HV is a premium-quality residential battery energy-storage system for homes with single- or three-phase power. Offering 10 kilowatt hours (kWh) of nominal storage capacity, it is paired with the GoodWe ET and EH hybrid inverter series.
Consistent with the entire Soluna Au product range, the 10K Pack HV provides blackout protection. Placing two or more of these pre-assembled battery systems parallel to each other can achieve increases in energy-storage capacity of up to 40 kWh (4 x 10 kWh).
Soluna Au has finalised a national distributor agreement with Legend Corporate Services Limited. A privately owned Australian company that provides professional installers nationally and in New Zealand with market-leading electrical products and industrial solutions, Legend has more than 350 employees across a range of manufacturing sites, engineering facilities, test laboratories, corporate offices and distribution facilities.
