Meeka Metals Limited (ASX:MEK) has obtained high-grade REE assays from the Circle Valley project in Western Australia.
The assays relate to 60 infill and extensional Mineral Resource drill holes completed during the March 2023 quarter. This drilling covers an area of ~10sq. km. A further 32 holes covering an additional ~5sq. km, are pending. Combined, these results will be used to inform a REE Mineral Resource for Circle Valley in the June 2023 quarter.
“Initial results from this programme confirm what was evident in the drilling completed during 2022, thick zones of high-grade mineralization rich in NdPr magnet rare earth elements,” Managing Director Tim Davidson, said.
“Additionally, this drilling significantly expands the footprint of mineralization in preparation for Mineral Resource estimation.
“While we are awaiting results from a further 32 infill and extensional drill holes, it is apparent the shallow high-grade mineralization trends northwest and remains open in that direction, providing potential for further growth through drilling.”

- Assays for a further ~5sq. km of infill and extensional drilling are pending with results expected in the coming weeks.
- This drilling, over a total area of ~15sq. km, infilled and extended mineralization surrounding previous shallow high-grade REE results grading up to 6,894ppm TREO.
- The initial REE Mineral Resource for Circle Valley remains on track for the June 2023 quarter.
