Step-out Drilling Expands High Grade Zone
Osisko Mining Inc. (OSK:TSX) has reported promising results from the ongoing drill programme at its 100% owned Windfall gold project located in the Abitibi greenstone belt, Urban Township, Eeyou Istchee James Bay, Québec.
Chief Executive Officer John Burzynski said drilling is currently focused on the Lynx deposit.
“Windfall continues to grow in scale with impressive results flowing in from the Lynx deposit,” Mr Burzynski said.
“Today’s new intersections are all from outside the published resource area and include 15 intercepts with uncut average grades of over one oz/t.
“The ongoing expansion drilling continues to show the incredible upside growth potential of our deposit.”
Mr Burzynski said these intercepts either expand the resource wireframes or are located in a defined zone/corridor but not yet correlated to a specific wireframe. Selected high-grade intercepts from the new results include: 391 g/t Au over 2.4 metres, 70 metres toward surface; 142 g/t Au over 2.3m; 86.0 g/t Au over 2.1m; 73.8 g/t Au over 2m; 54.4 g/t Au over 4.8 m; and 49.8 g/t Au over 2.2m.
