Silver Storm Mining Ltd. (TSXV: SVRS | OTCQB: SVRSF | FSE: SVR) has announced drill results from its Phase 2 diamond drilling program at the company’s 100% owned La Parrilla Silver Mine Complex, located in Durango Mexico. Results from the 14 holes are from the Rosarios and San Carlos Zones, within the Rosarios mine.
Greg McKenzie, president, and CEO, commented, “We are pleased with the high-grade results within Central Rosarios, now with six intercepts exceeding 1,000g/t AgEq. It is important to recognize this area was predicted to be blank. The results reported today extend the high-grade mineralization up to 128m below the indicated and inferred resources identified by SRK and we anticipate the drilling will have a positive impact on future mineral resources, both in terms of tonnage and grade.”
Numerous high-grade intercepts were encountered within the Rosarios Mine underneath and in proximity to previous mined stopes. The current drill results, when combined with historical holes drilled by First Majestic, are expected to have a positive impact on future mineral resources.
Hole RO-24-028 returned 1,306 g/t Ag.Eq over 1.60m within a broader interval of 887g/t Ag.Eq over 2.54m. Hole RO-24-015 returned 1,791g/t Ag.Eq over 0.35m within a broader interval of 711g/t Ag.Eq over 1.03m and 1,170g/t Ag.Eq over 0.50m and 1,071 g/t Ag.Eq over 1.35m within a broader interval of 598g/t Ag.Eq over 3.91m
Hole RO-24-032A returned 731g/t Ag.Eq over 1.40m and 510g/t Ag.Eq over 0.50m within a broader interval of 305g/t Ag.Eq over 5.60m.
Hole RO-24-034 returned 350g/t Ag.Eq over 1.06m, 475g/t Ag.Eq over 0.40m and 617g/t Ag.Eq over 0.42m, 396g/t Ag.Eq over 0.40m and 592g/t Ag.Eq over 0.40m and 1,085g/t Ag.Eq over 0.50m.
Hole RO-24-026 returned 421g/t Ag.Eq over 1.13m and 316g/t Ag.Eq over 1.72m within a broader interval of 276g/t Ag.Eq over 5.46m. Historical hole LBT-11-01 intersected 523g/t Ag.Eq over 0.60m and 670g/t Ag.Eq over 1.30m. Hole RO-24-014 returned 285g/t Ag.Eq over 1.02m and 431g/t Ag.Eq over 0.69m. Historical hole ILP-RO-18-60 returned 1,167g/t Ag.Eq over 1.45m within a broader interval of 434g/t Ag.Eq over 6.25m.
This high-grade area extends approximately 148m below the last stope mined in this area and 128m below indicated and inferred resources identified by SRK.
Three exploration holes confirm the continuity of the San Carlos Zone, first discovered by FM in 2015 with hole ILP-14M-15-02 returning 361g/t Ag.Eq over 1.40m: hole RO-24-036 returned 722 g/t Ag.Eq over 0.66m and 284g/t Ag.Eq over 0.50m. The mineralization from these holes is located 135m south of the Rosarios Zone and approximately 335m from surface.
