Siren Gold Limited (ASX: SNG) has intersected further high-grade mineralisation in New Zealand.
The company has sighted significant visible gold in a float sample in Bull Creek below the historic McVicar mine at Alexander River. The McVicar mine historically produced 42koz at a recovered grade of 26g/t Au.
Additional drilling results received for the McVicar West shoot that includes AX80 that intersected 2m @ 8.2g/t Au from 252m, including 1.2m @ 12.6g/t Au.
AX80 was drilled between AX74 (2.8m @ 6.6g/t Au) and AX84 which intersected significant visible gold with results awaited.
AX79 intercepted the Bull shoot a further 100m down plunge and intersected strong acicular arsenopyrite mineralisation that returned 7.9m @ 3.3g/t Au (including 1.9m @ 7.8g/t Au).
This is in line with other intersections in the Bull shoot, which now extends for 400m down plunge.
