Lithium Clay Project Hits Targeted Claystone In Every Hole
Spearmint Resources Inc. (CSE: SPMT) has decided to expand its current drill programme at the Clayton Valley Lithium Clay Project in Nevada after receiving initial positive indications in the completed drill holes to date.
President James Nelson said Spearmint has encountered the targeted potential lithium bearing claystone in each drill hole to date and has already rushed the first three holes in for assaying. The company has received approval from the BLM (Bureau of Land Management) to extend this programme.
“We are pleased to once again extend this drill programme after management has determined positive initial indications to date,” Mr Nelson said.
“We are very encouraged to have encountered the targeted claystone in every hole drilled to date and we look forward to adding one more hole to this programme. “Nevada lithium is garnering a significant focus right now as Noram Ventures Inc. and American Lithium Corp. are also both underway with drill programmes targeting lithium claystone formations. We are very optimistic about the outcome of this drill programme.”
