Talisker Resources Ltd. (TSX: TSK | OTCQX: TSKFF) has announced high-grade drill results highlighted by 47.6g/t Au over 1.2m within a broader interval of 8.9g/t over 6.8m at its wholly-owned Bralorne Gold Project in British Columbia, Canada.
“These first results from our Mustang infill drill programme continue to clearly demonstrate the grade and continuity we have come to expect from the Bralorne Gold Project,” said Talisker CEO, Terry Harbort.
“With a significant number of drill holes currently at the laboratory, we will be receiving a constant stream of results over the coming months.”
Hole SB-2023-004 intersected even high grades: 118.50g/t gold over 0.5m within a longer interval of 27.5g/t at the BK vein and 11.7g/t at the Alhambra vein.
Talisker is a junior resource company involved in the exploration and development of gold projects in BC, Canada. Talisker’s flagship asset is the high-grade, fully permitted Bralorne Gold Project where the company is currently transitioning into underground production at the Mustang Mine.
The Bralorne project, located 130km west of Lilloet, includes the former high-grade Bralorne, Pioneer, and King mines, which produced a total of 4.2Moz of gold from ore that averaged 17.8g/t. Production ceased in 1971 due to low gold prices of which only 30 of the 63 identified veins were mined. All veins remain open at depth, and many are open along strike.
The resource estimate Talisker delivered in January 2023 contained 33Koz of gold in indicated tonnage and 1.6Moz in inferred tonnage.
