Assay TV hears from Alberto Orozco, CEO and Director at Capitan Mining (TSXV: CAPT), about the company’s flagship Cruz de Plata Project at Durango, Mexico.
We hear about the 5,000m drill programme at the Jesus Maria Silver Target. The campaign commenced with 10 holes late last year, and assay results from four holes have been returned. Of note is hole 21-JMRC-01, which returned 42.7m @ 224.3 g/t AgEq, including 1.52m @ 1,177.2 g/t AgEq. We learnt that the mineralization at Jesus Maria is connected to Capitan Deposit under the JM North Silver Target.
Alberto also talks about the San Rafael Silver Target, where four veins have been identified at surface. Capitan Mining will continue its step-out drilling programme throughout H1 2022, all the while looking for the potential to expand the existing system.
