The Assay TV chats with Andre Douchane, CEO and executive director of BBX Minerals (ASX: BBX), a precious metals exploration, resource, and technology development company. BBX is focused on two 100% owned projects, its Tres Estados platinum group metals project, and its EMA project, both in Brazil.
Andrew tells us that the company recently announced an updated MRE for its flagship Tres Estados project. He explains that the inclusion of the company’s Tabocal target increased the mineral resource by 73,500oz of 5E PGM’s, comprising platinum and iridium.
Andre also informs us that BBX, together with EcoBiome, are developing an environment compatible and sustainable beneficiation process that extracts precious metals using a unique bio leach process. BBX estimates that setup will commence in late Q2 2023.
