The Assay TV chats with Andrew Chubb, the CEO of Awalé Resources (TSXV: ARIC) at 121 Mining Investment Cape Town, a mineral exploration company currently focused on its Odienné Copper-Gold Project in northwest Côte d’Ivoire.
Andrew tells us about Awalé’s exploration success to date, and how it has resulted in a fully funded earn-in joint venture with Newmont (TSX: NGT | NYSE: NEM) for Odienné. He also talks about the project’s four significant discoveries, predominantly covering the BBM discovery which is the most recent.
Finally, Andrew touches on what’s to come, with the company likely to receive further funding from Newmount and plans to drill at least 10,000m towards the BBM, Charger, Sceptre East, and Empire discoveries.
