The Assay TV catches up with Andrew Stewart, VP of exploration at Xanadu Mines (ASX: XAM | TSX: XAM), a company that discovers and defines globally significant porphyry copper-gold deposits in Mongolia.
The company has a multi-stage portfolio of exploration projects and is one of the few junior explorers on the ASX and TSX who control an emerging Tier 1 copper-gold deposit at its flagship Kharmagtai project.
Andrew highlights that Xanadu, with joint venture partner Zijin Mining, has recently received results from the Phase 1 diamond drilling at its Kharmagtai Stockwork Hill and White Hill deposits.
The results are expected to upgrade the pre-feasibility study production and economics after the updated MRE is incorporated, and the company is on track to enable a financial decision to mine by Q4 2024.
