Centaurus Metals is an ASX-listed exploration company offering highly leveraged exposure to a rich asset base in Brazil including exciting new greenfields copper-gold and nickel-cobalt exploration projects.
The Company is maintaining an aggressive exploration program across its Brazilian asset portfolio, aimed at generating new discoveries to deliver shareholder value.
The main project focus is the Salobo West Copper-Gold Project, located in the prolific Carajas Mineral Province, only 15km along strike from the massive Salobo operations of Vale in Brazil’s mineral-rich State of Pará.
Extensive surface exploration has already been undertaken and a number of excellent drill targets have been defined with the potential for a world-class IOCG copper-gold discovery.
Centaurus’ other key project is the Itapitanga nickel-cobalt project, only 10km along strike from Anglo Americans’s 300Mt Jacare nickel-cobalt deposit and where high grade nickel and cobalt mineralisation has already been identified in auger drilling. RC drilling is currently underway.
