Assay TV catches up with Gareth Thomas, president, and CEO of Westhaven Gold (TSXV: WHN), a gold-focused exploration company advancing a high-grade discovery on its Shovelnose project in Canada’s newest gold district, the Spences Bridge Gold Belt. The company controls a total of 37,000ha with four 100% owned gold properties spread along this underexplored belt.

Gareth informs us that Westhaven has recently closed a $4.3M non-brokered private placement of flow-through shares, which will be used to incur Canadian exploration expenses. The company has also recently received positive drill results from an ongoing drill campaign at Shovelnose, including 76.98m of 1.51 g/t Au and 8.47 g/t Ag.
