James Wallbank, Managing Partner at Ibaera Capital sat down with The Assay to discuss Ibaera’s focus on future-facing metals and the importance of these in a decarbonized future world economy as well as Ibaera’s investment and exit strategies, how they work to get companies funded into the construction phase, and more.
James Wallbank has led Ibaera since its formation in 2012. He was the former Manager of Business Development for Fortescue Metals Group, responsible for the acquisition of new non-iron investments in Australia and internationally. Prior to joining FMG, James was Manager of Iron Ore for WorleyParsons, one of the largest project delivery businesses with over 30,000 staff. James has a Master of Business Administration from the Australian Graduate School of Management and a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering (Hons), from the University of Adelaide, Australia.
