Assay TV catches up with Ken Brophy, the chief executive officer of Intrepid Metals (TSXV: INTR), a Canadian exploration company focused on exploring for potential high-grade copper, silver, and zinc projects in proximity to established mining camps in south-eastern Arizona, USA.
Tom informs us that the company has acquired four drill ready projects in the last nine months, including the Corral Copper Project, a district scale advanced exploration and development opportunity, and the Tombstone South Project, both of which are in Cochise County, Arizona. The company also owns the Mesa Well Project located in the Laramide Copper Porphyry Belt in Arizona.
Tom explains that as well as having access to 30,000m of historical drill data which shows significant copper intercepts at the Corral Copper project, Intrepid has also recently completed an IP survey at the Tombstone South Project, which has identified a new high-priority target area. The company expects to start drilling at Tombstone South in H1 2023.
