The Assay TV chats with Luke Knight, CEO of Central Copper Resources, a private development and exploration company with a highly prospective landholding in the central African copper belts.
Luke touches on his extensive mining background, before diving into Central Copper’s projects: the West Congolian project and Kayeye project in the Democratic Republic of the Congo (DRC), as well as the Lunga project in Zambia.
The West Congolian project is Central’s flagship project, which runs along an 85km fault. The company has 12 exploration licences adjacent to their existing resource and includes its Mbamba Kilenda copper deposit and a lead and vanadium target.
Later, Luke tells us about Central Copper’s aim to fast-track development of Mbamba Kilenda, extend the resource, and hopefully completing a DFS over the next six to 12 months. Kayeye will primarily be focused on initial discoveries moving forward.
