The Assay TV chats with Matthew Hornor, president and CEO of Maple Gold Mines Ltd. (TSXV: MGM | OTCQB: MGMLF), an advanced exploration company focused on projects located in Québec’s prolific Abitibi Greenstone Gold Belt.
Matthew tells us about the company’s 50/50 joint venture with Agnico Eagle Mines, in which both companies are committed to advancing the Douay and Joutel gold projects, Quebec. Maple recently announced the completion of a first phase of deep drilling at the projects, which consisted of more than 13,100m, with all Telbel drill holes intersecting broad zones of semi-massive to massive sulphide mineralization.
Matthew also tells us about some recent final assay results received from the company’s 100% owned Eagle Mine Project, which previously formed a part of Agnico’s past-producing Eagle-Telbel mining complex. He says that the results continue to demonstrate the continuity of mineralization and the potential significance of the multiple horizons/splays to the northwest of the former Eagle mine.
