The Assay TV is joined by Mena Habib and David Turvey, the managing director and non-executive director of Power Minerals (ASX: PNN), a diversified ASX-listed mineral resources exploration company, focused on the systematic exploration and development of projects in demand-driven commodities.
The company’s projects include the Salta Lithium Brine Project in Argentina’s lithium triangle, the Musgrave Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE Project in northern South Australia’s Musgrave Province, and the Eyre Peninsula Kaolin-Halloysite Project on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula.
Mena explains that the company has recently completed a four-hole JORC Mineral Resource drilling programme at the Incahuasi salar at its Salta Lithium Project in Argentina, with Hole PM23-IN-04 intersecting lithium-bearing brines in a 60m interval under the alluvial fan in the southern area of the salar.
Mena also explains that the Mineral Resource drilling campaign is designed to deliver a substantial upgrade to the Salta Project’s existing JORC Lithium Mineral Resource, and to support future development plans.
Furthermore, David tells us that the company has plans to undertake the next phase of exploration at its Musgrave Project, targeting large, magmatic nickel-copper-cobalt sulphide deposits.
