Assay TV catches up with Nikolaos Cacos, president and CEO of Blue Sky Uranium (TSXV: BSK | OTC: BKUCF | FSE: MAL2), a company focused on rapidly advancing a portfolio of uranium-vanadium projects to the prefeasibility study stage.
Nikolaos updates us on the company’s flagship Amarillo Grande Project, which comprises three major properties, including the Ivana near-surface uranium deposit which hosts the largest NI 43-101 uranium resource in Argentina; Ivana also has potentially significant vanadium credits. Other exploration targets for blind uranium and vanadium mineralization are also present within the project area.
Nikolaos explains that the close proximity of the properties and targets provides the potential for an integrated, low-cost uranium-vanadium producing operation, saying that this makes Amarillo Grande an excellent candidate to be the first near-term uranium producer in Argentina.
