The Assay TV is joined by Sean Roosen, chairman and CEO of Osisko Development (TSXV: ODV), a North American gold development company focused on high-quality brownfield properties located in mining-friendly jurisdictions.
Sean explains Osisko development’s history, recent acquisitions, and dives into further detail of their 100%-owned Cariboo Gold project in BC, Canada, the Tintic project in the historic East Tintic mining district in Utah, USA, and the San Antonio Gold project in Sonora, Mexico. Tintic alone has shown encouraging MRE results for its Trixie test mine at 213,000oz @ 28g/t of measured and indicated gold.
Osisko is also focused on its Caribou Gold project, which is still in the early stages, and has released a recent pre-feasibility study in January. It shows potential to be a tier 1 resource, with over 83km of mineralized fault veins injected with gold-rich material averaging 11g across the 700,000m of completed drilling.
Finally, Sean also chats with us about San Antonio Gold, a low-cost heap leach project, which has had 27,000m worth of drilling to date. The low capex, 1.1Moz resource covers a 10km strike length and is awaiting further gold permitting.
