The Assay TV catches up with Tim Harrison, the managing director of Ionic Rare Earths
(ASX: IXR) a company focused on magnet and heavy rare earths. The company aims to establish itself as one of the world’s alternative sustainable suppliers and is focused on helping countries by reducing supply chains risks.
Tim chats with us about the company’s Makuutu project in Uganada where Rwenzori, owner of the project, has formally received the large-scale mining licence over the central Makuutu tenement. He also discusses the appointment of Brett Lynch as executive chairman.

The company is now operating its demonstration plant on a continuous basis, with the intention to produce high purity separated rare earth oxides at the design production capacity of 10tpa.
