Amex Exploration (TSX-V: AMX, FRA: MX0, OTCQX: AMXEF) has made significant gold discoveries on its 100% owned Perron Gold Project located in the mining friendly jurisdiction of Quebec. The project is well serviced by existing infrastructure, being located about an hour north of Rouyn-Noranda (~110 km), on a year-round road, 10 minutes from an airport and just outside the town of Normetal (~8 km). In addition, the project is in close proximity to a number of major gold producers’ milling operations. To date, Amex has hit very high-grade and visible gold in three different zones (Eastern Gold Zone, Gratien Gold Zone and Grey Cat Gold Zone) across the project that stretch over 3.2 km of lateral strike along the Perron Fault Zone. In addition, the Company has made two new high grade gold discoveries on the property which will require follow up drilling but have the potential to become new stand-alone gold zones.
